Pleasant and Comfortable Living in Donderberg

Since 2011, we have been actively working on the development of Donderberg. Much has been accomplished. In the first years, we invested money in houses, buildings, streets, and parks. In recent years, there has been more focus on pleasant and comfortable living in the neighborhood. I am proud that we can continue this together with the province of Limburg from 2026 onwards. Beautiful things are happening in Donderberg. That makes me very happy. Together we look at what is needed. We are not finished yet and will certainly not let go of Donderberg. We have several points of attention.
The safety around the shopping center is important. With the arrival of a neighborhood law enforcement officer and shop steward, this will improve. And how fantastic that the library is coming back! As a child, I lived near Donderberg and still remember well going to the library there. When I think of the new library, I envision a place where grandparents read newspapers and children do homework. When the first residents move into the Donderhof care home, we will also offer the elderly and people in need of assistance a safe and familiar place.
I believe in the strength of the people who live here. Together we ensure pleasant and comfortable living in Donderberg!
